It is the Exhibitor’s/Sponsor’s responsibility to comply with local authority regulations, The Foundation for the Code for Pharmaceutical Advertising (“the CGR”), the Code of Conduct for Pharmaceutical Advertising ( and EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceuticals Industries & Associations) as well as the IFMPA (International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations) Code of Practice on the Promotion of Medicines.

In addition to the previous information, EASL adheres to the IPCAA guidelines. It therefore expects all sponsoring companies to adhere to these common sets of practice and regulations.

The sponsor and EASL agree that the activities anticipated by this agreement do not involve counselling or promotion of any arrangement or activity that violates any laws or regulations or industry code. The sponsor shall fully comply at all times with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the application of anti-corruption laws.
